Medical Students

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery/Division in Ophthalmology.  I allow medical students to rotate with me to motivate them to pursue a career in ophthalmology.  We focus on learning ophthalmology and studying systemic diseases and its impact on the eye. We also spend time discussing the business aspects of medicine. I have been mentoring medical student since January 2005.
